These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by ShopGPT, a sole proprietorship ("ShopGPT", "we", "us", or "our").
Please read them carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using ShopGPT you agree to be bound by these Terms; if you disagree with any part, do not use the Service.
These Terms set out the rights and obligations of all users of the Service. Your access is conditioned on acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you are over the age of 13. We do not knowingly permit those under 13 to use the Service.
To run searches you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us of any unauthorized use.
You may sign in with an email and password or with Google. You may not use another person's identity or a name you are not authorized to use.
Which marketplaces we can search depends on factors outside our control — a retailer may block automated access, restrict access by country, change its site structure, or go offline. Marketplaces are therefore enabled and disabled over time, and some may be unavailable from your region or unavailable entirely.
We do not guarantee that any particular marketplace will be searchable, that a search will return results from every marketplace you select, or that coverage available today will remain available. Marketplaces shown as unavailable in the app cannot be searched and do not consume credits.
Paid plans and credit packs are not yet available for purchase. Checkout is disabled and every account is on the free tier. The paid-plan, payment, refund, and cancellation terms below describe how paid plans will work once they launch, and take effect for you only if you choose to purchase one.
Every account starts free with a monthly allotment of 200 credits and 20 premium credits, topped back up to those amounts each month (unused free credits do not accumulate). No card required.
One-time credit packs of credits (not premium credits) will also be available for top-ups. Our pricing is experimental: prices and allotments may change as we learn what searches cost to run, and we will give reasonable notice of changes affecting an active subscription.
A search consumes credits based mainly on the number of pages scraped across the selected marketplaces, plus a small flat surcharge when a fresh AI analysis is generated. Marketplaces that can only be searched with a full browser consume premium credits instead, also per page; if you do not have enough, those marketplaces are skipped and the rest of the search runs. A search served from our 12-hour cache costs half what the same search costs fresh, and reopening a saved search costs nothing. The statistical fallback summary does not incur the AI surcharge. The search-depth setting (Fast / Balanced / Deep) changes how thoroughly the AI reasons about your results; it does not change the credit cost. The shopping-assistant chat currently consumes no credits, and we reserve the right to meter it in future with notice.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all payments, billing, invoicing, currency conversion, and applicable sales tax/VAT. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Paddle. By subscribing you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never see or store your full card details.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscription plans. For refunds, please contact Paddle first ([email protected] or your Paddle receipt / customer portal). If You are not satisfied with ShopGPT for any reason and Paddle cannot resolve it, contact our support team at [email protected] within 14 days of Your purchase for a full refund. For refunds that fall under Paddle's standard policy, please contact Paddle support at [email protected] or visit paddle.net. One-time credit pack purchases are non-refundable once credits have been consumed. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via your Paddle receipt. On cancellation you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which your account returns to the free tier. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not by itself trigger a refund of the current period (see Refund Policy above).
ShopGPT aggregates publicly available listing information from the Marketplaces. Prices, availability, images, ratings, currency conversions, and shipping details may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or out of date, and can change at any time on the retailer's site.
ShopGPT uses AI models to grade deals, summarize results, and power the shopping assistant. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations and is provided for informational purposes only — it is not professional, financial, or purchasing advice. You are responsible for your own buying decisions.
Your search queries and chat messages are sent to third-party AI providers, which may process them outside your country. See our Privacy Policy for details, and please do not enter sensitive personal or financial information into a search or chat message.
You retain your rights in the queries and messages you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process them in order to operate the Service — running searches, generating AI analysis, and storing saved searches for you.
Saved searches are private to your account. You may delete any of them at any time from your history, and deleting your account removes them as described in our Privacy Policy. Because a saved search contains listing content belonging to the marketplaces, it is for your personal use and may not be republished or redistributed.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to NOT:
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and remain the exclusive property of ShopGPT and its licensors, protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Marketplace names, logos, and listing content belong to their respective owners.
Our Service links to third-party web sites that are not owned or controlled by the Company, above all the Marketplaces whose listings appear in your results.
The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that breaches these Terms. You may stop using the Service or cancel your subscription at any time. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; server-stored account data, including saved searches, is deleted within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopGPT's total liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid anything.
In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of profits or data, a purchase made in reliance on an inaccurate or stale price or currency conversion, the unavailability of any marketplace, or decisions based on AI output — even if advised of the possibility.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that prices or listings will be accurate, that any marketplace will be searchable, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be correct.
These Terms and Your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the applicable governing jurisdiction, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company at [email protected].
If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident. You also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service.
You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the Service.
